(1) The school should conduct extracurricular activities program in the school for the development of creative talent of the students.
(2) Both teachers and students should participate in the extracurricular activity program.
(3) The school should do the following while conducting the extracurricular activity program:-
(a) To instill a sense of nationalism in schools, to practice and compete in dramas, dances and folk music that are entertaining and increase the interest in national culture or arts,
(B) Regularly practice and conduct different types of sports for the physical development of students (c) To raise awareness among students about social services and environmental protection and to encourage students to participate in programs such as cleaning and protection of educational institutions, community places or other similar places, school gardens, construction of agricultural fields, tree planting and literacy,
(d) To make a discourse on the importance and ethics of national, international, historical, social, religious festivals,
(e) To encourage the opening of units of organizations like Scouts, Junior Red Cross.
(4) According to sub-rule (1), the school shall make the students participate in the following competitions in the context of conducting the extra-curricular activities program:-
(a) Painting and Handicraft Competition,
(b) Badyabadan competition
(c) Dance competition
(d) Drama Competition
(e) Oratorical Competition
(f) Attendance Answer Competition
(g) Spelling Contest
(h) Sports Competition
(i) Literary Activities, Poetry and Essay Competition
(j) Flower competition
(k) Other Competition
(4a) The school should make the students participate in the extracurricular activities program after finishing the daily reading on Friday.
(4b) District Education Officer to conduct regular district level sports competitions by involving the studentswill fall.
(5) The school may form a committee as needed to conduct extracurricular activities.
(6) Awards may be given to encourage students and schools who show excellence in the competition as per sub-rule (4).
